In April 2008 I had again the great opportunity to return to Japan with the invaluable help of my friend and translator Chieko Sugiyama;It has been a very interesting trip, we payed visits to some of the most famous breeders of Akita and Shiba Inu. We also played a small part in the Nippo Regional Show at Kyoshu where I had the great honour to show a Shiba owned by Mr.Tomimoto, which earned an excellent fourth position in his really hard class.. I had the pleasure of visiting some new Akita breeders too, have met some highly respected experts within the Akita and Shiba Inu's world, exchanged views and had the opportunity to show them pictures of my dogs. With this visit I have achieved my goal of importing new dogs from excellent bloodlines and I cannot be more proud of them being part of Shun'you kensha, where they will play an important role in furthering both the akita and shiba breeding in Europe.
